It started at IPEDIS. Over nearly 11 years, I built multiple products from scratch: PubliSpeak, a paper-document digitization platform trusted by Air Liquide, L’Oréal, Publicis and Groupe Premium; PDF Accessible (checker.pdfaccessible.com); and IpedisConnect™. I grew from lead developer to CTO, scaling the product team from 5 to 25 people.
A change of perspective
The turning point came when I moved from lead developer to CTO. I knew how to defend a coding choice. I had to learn to defend a decision with people who talk about revenue, risk and growth. An architecture can be elegant and solve nothing for the business. Understanding that changed how I work.

Then I joined Gridky as Head of Engineering for 5 years. Three product lines (Real Estate, SCPI, Insurance), 6 senior developers and 2 Product Owners, and a fast-growing platform to stabilise. At both Ipedis and Gridky, I stayed long enough to see what my decisions cost, what they delivered and what needed correcting. That time with the teams shaped my convictions.

Working from Mauritius
Today, I live in Mauritius (GMT+4) and support Ipedis and Gridky in parallel. The time difference lets me work with European teams every day.

Hiring, onboarding, responsibilities and knowledge sharing. At Ipedis, I helped the team grow from 5 to 25 people. Growing the team also means keeping every decision from landing on the longest-serving people.
I show up when decisions matter
I work with leadership on roadmap and strategy decisions, explaining what they mean for revenue, risk and growth.
I secure products and their infrastructure
Application security, risk management, cloud and business continuity: I identify product risks and help leadership decide which to address first.
